8x7 Matrix Blinkie Kit

We went back and redesigned the 5x7 matrix Blinkie. We added a USB port for power and the ability to change the 1st message via a computer. we expanded the number of columns from 5 to 8 because more is better.

It is the size of a credit card, a ??" by ??" double-sided circuit board with a mounting pin on the back side that requires assembly and soldering. It has 56 LEDs that will display various user-selectable patterns and text messages. This blinkie design was introduced in 2014 at Musecon 4

One of the special features of the 8x7 is the ability to customize the first scrolling text message via a PC and the USB interface.

One caveat, with all the extra goodies, a bit more soldering skill is needed.
