Parts

We do small production runs, and don't get the same price breaks that that 1,000,000 unit buyers get. Well, actually, sort of. When the big builders are done they always have extra parts left over. We often buy the excess inventory. We also buy from a number of suppliers that are giving us great prices for our low volume. We have a strong feeling that sometimes we are getting part lots that did not meet the specification of the big guys (0.5mm too long, etc), or excess inventory (scrap) from filling multiple orders - these often arrive as a mixed lot. This helps us keep the price of our kits low but we end up with other parts we don't need after we sort through the lot.
